Work surfaces. Storage cabinets. Tools. In a perfect world, that’s all you’d keep in a garage. In reality, a lot of other things end up out here -- from holiday decorations to lawn tools to bicycles and exercise equipment. So the first solution (if you’ve got the room) is a shed. In my case, there was some space along the driveway that leads to my garage. I built a shed to fit there. The design was pretty quick and dirty. I took a sheet of graph paper and drew out the available space I had. I used a couple of plates from the kitchen to make the curves for the two roofs. I got started building it later that day.
