This is the little table that could.
It was made as a welding table -- the very first thing I ever welded. But it’s never really been used much for welding. Instead, it does everything else. It holds seven or eight angle grinders. My table saw nests underneath it. (Lucky coincidence, there.)
You’ll notice I rounded the corners off in order to avoid catching them on my hip as I walked around the garage.
Here’s the view from the other side:
And up top?
More work for the little table. There are two bench grinders, a combination disc/belt sander, and also an old band saw I use for wood and aluminum.
This is all on a table with a very small footprint. Hence the ‘Swiss Army’ designation.
Here is it on the day I made it. (It didn’t even have feet yet.)
Almost immediately, I was using another table for welding. And this poor guy got the job of carrying other tools.
It’s a very simple bench, but it does a good job.
